Pre-diabetes is a medical condition when the blood sugar gets higher than the normal range but not as higher, that it can be termed as Type II Diabetes.

Pre-diabetes is actually a warning that one can get Type II Diabetes in near future. Well, if we see medical facts then the researchers say that it takes almost 10 years to develop Type II Diabetes from Pre-diabetes. But, it’s not always correct. Rather, it depends on person-to-person.

Why does Pre-diabetes happen?

Diabetes or pre-diabetes is a lifestyle disease. So, it happens when our lifestyle is not correct or is not good enough to lead a healthy life.

If we are more into eating junk foods, packaged, and processed foods, our body will fall into the trap of Diabetes.

Also, if we don’t exercise much or we don’t keep our bodies active enough, we will definitely be diagnosed with Diabetes sooner or later.

You are at risk if you:

  • Have a family history of Diabetes
  • Eat a carbohydrate-rich diet
  • Consume more sugary, processed, and packaged foods
  • Don’t keep your body active by performing the exercise, yoga, etc.
  • Come under the category of overweight and obese, especially people with more belly fat.
  • Consume more of animal fats

What are the symptoms of Pre-Diabetes?

The symptoms include:

  • Excessive thirst, hunger, and fatigue
  • Frequent urination
  • Weight gain and
  • Blurred vision
